On Wednesday, November 13, there have been delays on the Line 8 of the Collective Transport System (STC) Metro of Mexico City (CDMX). According to reports, the trains remain stationary at the stations, causing inconvenience to users of this line. Some passengers have expressed that the train circulation is limited, as reflected by a comment from a user on social media who mentioned waiting 15 minutes at the UAM station without a train passing.
In response, the Metro of CDMX indicated that the problem is due to the high influx on Line 8 and measures are being taken to accelerate the movement of trains from the terminals. On the other hand, in the morning of the same day, users of Line 7, which goes towards El Rosario-Barranca del Muerto and vice versa, have also experienced delays in service. Although no breakdowns have been reported on Line 7, it has been communicated that the wait time between stations is approximately 7 minutes.
Regarding other Metro lines, on Line 3, which connects Indios Verdes with Universidad, a high influx has been observed, although no significant delays in train circulation have been reported. On the other hand, a user mentioned that at the Guelatao station of Line A there have been problems that have caused delays for users in their travels. Travelers are advised to take precautions and plan their departure in advance given the current situation on several lines of the CDMX Metro.
